Community Quiz Games
Community quiz game takes a slightly different format from, but follows the same principals described for the school quiz game applied to schoolchildren during school hours. While the school quiz game is played individually, the community quiz game is played in teams of up to 10 people. Parents and their children play in the same team. They may invite friends, relatives and other school children families to compose a team of ten people.
The organiser should construct quiz games that include a single topic. This should be in line with the topics addressed in the school health and life coaching, but not the same questions used in the school quiz games. The organiser should develop or select questions appropriate to the level of education of the audience and pertinent to the learning objectives of the topic covered. Each quiz game will consist of 20 questions split into 2 rounds of 10 questions. Questions may be obtained from reviewing available resources on internet.
The community quiz game, similarly to the school quiz game is an stress-free way to learn. As children, their parents also find that quiz games are fun. They feel like playing it because it is a form of entertainment. Thus, it helps them learning relevant issues to prosper in a fun way. As for their children it helps them to retain information and build confidence. Playing quiz games with their children build family ties making them to feel good, and so, makes them enthusiastic to play more.
